If this is the case, here are a bunch of plumbing hacks that you should know.

Do you ever have trouble scrubbing a stain off of a toilet? Instead of using a brush, use a piece of sandpaper. It should be tough enough to remove the stain, yet gentle enough to not damage the toilet bowl.

Is there a fitting that you just can’t remove with your tool? You should take a piece of cord, and wrap it the fitting. Then floss the fitting until it comes loose.

Hair gets stuck in drains from time to time, causing clogging issues. There is a simple solution. Take a tie wrap and notch it every inch with a knife. You can then stick this tie wrap down the drain and the hairs will catch on the notches. When you pull it back up, all the hair should be removed.

Sometimes toilet flappers leak. If you think this may be the case, you can confirm this by placing food coloring in the reservoir. If the water in the bowl changes color after a few hours, this means that you need to replace the flapper.
